Medicare CDBS

Is care for children with additional needs bulk-billed under CDBS?

For children eligible for the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule, check-ups, X-rays, cleans, fissure sealants and fillings are bulk-billed at Berala Dental: Medicare pays the clinic directly and there is no out-of-pocket cost, up to the $1,158 cap over two calendar years. Children are generally eligible when the family receives Family Tax Benefit Part A or certain other government payments.

Check eligibility in your Medicare account on myGov, use the CDBS checker, or ask when you book. Eligibility is set by Services Australia and is confirmed with you before treatment.
