Berala family dentist Since 2002

Dr Belal Aly's dental practice, after 20+ years.

A single-chair practice in 2002. A four-chair practice today.

Dr Belal Aly opened Berala Dental in 2002, a year after finishing dentistry at the University of Otago. Today we're a four-chair practice caring for over 3,000 children, 14,000+ adults, and three generations of families across Sydney's Inner West and South-West.

We never chased growth for its own sake. We grew because patients kept bringing their friends, their kids, and eventually their grandkids. That's still how we grow.

4 principles

What we believe about dentistry.

The four ideas that shape every appointment we have.

1

Your tooth first.

We try to save the tooth before replacing it. Conservative care beats heroic rebuilds.

2

Kids, gently.

A scared 5-year-old becomes a scared 35-year-old. We take the time to make first visits feel safe.

3

In plain English.

Show, don't tell. Cameras, photos, and honest words — not jargon and not scare tactics.

4

Never on money.

We give options across budgets and never withhold care over a bill. Afterpay, Zip, CDBS, HICAPS — we'll find a way.
