What First Choice means

Inside nib’s First Choice network.

What it is: First Choice is nib’s network of dental practices that have an agreement with nib on what they charge for common dental items. Berala Dental is in that network.

What it is not: it is not a discount, a voucher or a promotion, and it does not change your annual limits, your waiting periods or your level of cover. Those belong to your policy.

The honest part: what you actually get back depends on your level of cover, your remaining annual limit and any waiting periods — that is between you and nib. Check your cover in the nib app or call nib before your appointment. We quote the full fee in writing first and never predict a rebate.

Verified provider

In both networks — Bupa Platinum and nib First Choice.

Berala Dental sits inside both major dental provider networks, so most Sydney families claim on the spot here whichever of the two they hold.

You see the number first

Every patient gets a written quote with item numbers before treatment starts. You can take those item numbers to nib and check them yourself before you sit in the chair.

The clean is not stripped back

X-rays, the OPG for new patients, photos, the gum screening and fluoride all sit inside the one fee. Nothing gets added at reception.

The same faces
