What it costs
$80 to be looked at.
One problem, looked at properly — to find what’s actually causing it rather than guess. The X‑ray for that tooth is included, not charged separately.
If the tooth has to come out and it can be lifted out normally. X‑rays and any photos needed are included. The range depends on the tooth and the root.
We don’t charge extra for imaging. X‑rays and any photos needed to work out what’s wrong are part of the fee. Anything beyond the consult is quoted before it starts — you will never find out a price afterwards.

Swelling doesn’t wait.
Pain you can sleep through can wait until morning. Facial swelling, a fever, or trouble swallowing or breathing cannot.

Can I be seen today?
Often yes. We keep room in the day for emergencies, and same‑day is the normal outcome for pain and swelling.
Call rather than book online if it’s urgent — the phone gets you into a gap that the online calendar won’t show.
What does the $80 cover?
The examination for the problem you came in with, the X‑ray needed to see it, and a straight answer on what’s causing it and what it would cost to fix.
It is not a full check-up of every tooth — that’s the $120 treatment plan. For one tooth that hurts, the $80 is the right one.
Do you take walk-ins?
Call first if you can. We’ll almost always find you a time, but ringing ahead means we can have the room and the right person ready instead of you sitting in the waiting area.
Can you take the tooth out on the day?
Sometimes, and we’ll tell you honestly at the consult. It depends on how much infection is there, how the tooth is sitting, and your medical history.
If it can come out the same day, the fee is the published extraction fee above. If it can’t, we’ll settle the pain first and book the removal.
Do I need a referral?
No. Come straight to us.
